Our Wedding

Brett got very lucky. He met a beautiful, intelligent woman. He did get lucky, but let’s be clear, so did I. I’ll admit, I was initially intrigued by his yoga skills and his ability to catch fish. But what kept me was everything underneath - his kindness, his humor, and the way he shows up consistently and wholeheartedly. Our story may not be traditional, but that’s exactly what makes it ours. It didn’t follow the timeline we expected, and it certainly didn’t take the long, winding road we had prepared ourselves for. But sometimes the best things don’t.

Right in the center of it all! One of the nicest hotels within Bar Harbor.

Harborside Hotel

It is a very nice resort type hotel. It'd better be.

West Street Boutique Hotel

Good reviews. More affordable while still close to downtown.

Acadia Inn

Spacious Rooms, a little walk, but in town.

Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

It has beds. Further walk from the main part of the town. Still, only a half a mile away.

Queen Anne's Revenge

A bit further of a trek. Brett and his mom stayed there. It's clean and nice. Better coffee than a Hilton. About a mile from Bar Harbor Inn.
